As a faculty member, father and human being, my heart goes out to all of students, faculty, staff and parents at Virginia Tech. Sometimes we live in such sad times.

My heart goes out to everyone touched by this tragedy. I am hoping for better days. Sometimes our daily problems don’t seem so significant anymore. Be thankful for what we have.
