Seeking Middle School Teacher Educational Game Testers

I am co Principle-Investigator on a project team called Simulation and Modeling in Technology Education (SMTE) which is part of a National Science Foundation five-year project to develop and research the academic potential of a hybrid instructional model that infuses computer simulations, modeling, and educational gaming into middle school technology education programs.

The instructional video game we are creating as part of the model is aimed at middle school students in technical educational programs.

We are two years into the project and have created an exciting method of teaching engineering, math and heatflow concepts. The student/player starts through the educational video game in a single player mode and then is thrust into a multiplayer environment where the students must work together applying the knowledge they learned in the single player mode to be successful.

Here is a video providing an overview of the game.

So, if you are a middle school teacher who is interested in testing out video game instruction, take a look at the recruiting video below and, if you are interested go to the web site Gaming2Learn and sign up.

And for those of you interested in the game play, here is a tutorial video explaining how to navigate through part of the game.
