Talking about #Gamification
Lately, I have been talking about gamification for learning and instruction with a number of different people in several different venues. Here are some of the interviews that I’ve had.
Over at Engaging Leader with Jesse Lahey, we had a great conversation about Gamifying to Engage. He has an entire series on Gamification, go over there and take a listen, great stuff!
At the Financial Times, I provided my input along with the input of many of the leaders of the field of gamification in a discussion about the topic from a learning and instructional perspective. Check out Skilful players can get ahead of the game
I was also interviewed for KNetwork Learning here is the interview. And here are some thoughts about the interview by the interviewer (Emmanuelle Deaton).
Some upcoming talks on gamification (and games for learning).
I will be co-presenting a webinar with Bryan Austin of GameOn! Learning tomorrow on the topic of Can Game-Based Learning Improve Learning Impact? (Spoiler Alert)…yes it can! Register, there are over 1,000 people signed up.
Also, live and in-person I will be at the ASTD ICE conference from May 15-May 22nd. If you are there, please stop by and say “hello.” I am doing a workshop with Sharon Boller called Play to Learn: Designing Effective Learning Games. Sharon is responsible for the creation of The Knowledge Guru.
I will also be speaking at a Future Workplace Network event with my colleague and friend Jeanne Meister.
