Virtual Immersive Environments (VIEs) are gaining attention but are they effective or a fad? Unfortunately, there are few guidelines to inform the development and creation of effective 3D Learning Events. In this session, we will examine a model for effectively thinking about and deploying 3D learning and collaboration spaces within your organization, explore how different design principles and learning archetypes lead to success and analyze case studies of organizations that have successfully combined formal and informal learning within these virtual spaces.
